Small Polyp Stony, also known as SPS corals, are often a favorite of saltwater aquarist. These stony corals have a calcium skeleton and they form the major part of reef structures in the seas. SPS corals require constant values, especially calcium and alkalinity need to be stable. They like sunny places and that's why they need to be placed in middle or upper areas in the reef tank.
